Here’s a roundup of recent blogospheric zombie roundups: Siris’s, my mind on books’s, and my own.
My $.02 on zombiology: either we know that we’re not zombies or we don’t know that we’re not zombies. If we know that we’re not zombies, then physicalism is true (see “Transcending Zombies“). If we don’t know that we’re not zombies, then physicalism is true (see “Type-Q Materialism“).

Nice one, Pete…. Maybe I’d better roundup your roundup roundup! Or something…. What if I know that there might be zombies?
And here’s a zombie-themed link:

Just in case, you know, you want to send a card …

Careful, Debbie. If there are too many roundups of roundup-roundups, the whole internet will become self-aware.
The system goes on-line August 4th, 1997. Human decisions are removed from strategic defense. Skynet begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, August 29th.
And then…well, we all know what happens then.
Holy crap! Skynet has been self-aware for over ten years now. I’m pissed that no one’s been attacked by killer robots yet. What’s Skynet been doing, playing sudoku?
Waiting for Mathew Broderick so they can play Global Thermonuclear War. But Broderick has been pretty busy with work the last few years, and that Skynet guy is such a drag at parties. Sometimes friends just drift apart; it’s nothing personal.
On a related note, I hear that Skynet was pretty into Sarah Jessica Parker, so that’s kind of a touchy subject between them. Apparently, Skynet sometimes calls their house and hangs up. He needs to move on.
